How do I set up sync against producteev?First you have to create a new account at www.producteev.com. After the account is created you can add one or more "Workspaces" in producteev – a workspace is similar to a List in Task List and you can create several workspaces and give them names.
To set up the sync in Task List you have to either add a new list or edit one of your existing lists (tap & hold on the list–tab and select "Edit list"). In the "Edit List" window you will find a button named "Producteev sync": Clicking this button will open a login window to Producteev. Use your producteev username and password here.
After a successful login you should be presented a list of your workspaces in producteev. By selecting a workspace it will be linked to the selected list in Task List. One list in Task List can only sync against one workspace in producteev, so if you want to sync more than one you have to set them up individually. Free version of Task List is limited to sync one list only.
When sync is established, lists will be synchronized whenever you press Menu and select "Synchronize all". Each list can be synchronized individually from the context menu of the list (tap & hold on the list–tab).
Syncing a list will add new⁄changed tasks from Task List to producteev and new⁄changed tasks from producteev to Task List. If you happen to edit the same task both in Task List and in producteev, the changes done in Task List will be overwritten by the changes done in producteev.
Labels and task assignments will not be synced over at the moment. Labelling of tasks in Task List will be added i near future.
If a task is repeating, either in Task List or in producteev, it will not be synced as a repeating task – this would cause the task to be repeated in both applications. Back to FAQ

I dont want the tasks to expand and collapse. Can I turn that off?Yes, open up Settings and click "List appearance". Scroll down to a check box named "Expand all". This is also achieved through the Settings menu.
Tip: When you tap on a task the default action is to expand⁄collapse the task. If you always show your tasks expanded it is a good idea to make the context menu pop up when you tap on the task instead of long–pressing it. To do this open Settings, click "Navigation" and select the "Touch action" item. Choose "Open context menu" here. Back to FAQ
Can I make email adresses and phone numbers clickable in the description?Yes, you can turn on links in the description field from settings. Open settings (Menu + Settings) and select "List appearance". Scroll down to "Links in description" and turn it on. All descriptions containing web adresses, email adresses and phone numbers will now show these as links.
When you turn this on it may make it harder to collapse a task containing links when you tap on it. This is because the text field absorbs the tapping. Try taping above the description field, or use the Menu button and select "Collapse all" to collapse the task. Back to FAQ

I purchased Task List Pro, but it will not download. Why?Unfortunately, I have absolutely no control over the Android Market. The Task List app does not come into the picture at all until it is downloaded and installed. The actual sale and download is purely a function of how Google and your service provider work. Sometimes the authorization process may take some time so If you have problems downloading the app it may start downloading after a while.
The most common cause of a failure to download is that the authorization of your credit card failed and Google Checkout has sent you an email regarding this. Please check your email to see if you have any emails regarding this. You will not be able to install until the credit card verification has succeeded. Back to FAQ
Why are ads are still showing after I have purchased the Pro version? When you buy the full version it will be installed in addition to the free version so if ads are shown you are starting the free version instead of the full version.

I have assigned "Toggle task complete" to a button, but it doesnt work! Why?All commands that modify an existing task will only work if the task is selected. The only way to select a task is by using either the D–pad (directional buttons) or the track ball. If you use the D–pad or trackball you will see that the selected task gets an orange background to indicate that it is selected. When you press the button that you have assigned to "Toggle task complete" you will se that the task will be marked as complete or not complete. Back to FAQ
Speech recognition doesnt understand me! Why?The speech recognition used by Task List is a service delivered by Google and it communicates directly with Googles servers when activated. You’ll need a decent internet connection for this to work in the first place.
You should also make sure that the correct language is selected for the voice recognizer. This is done in the Android system settings. These are found by first going to the home screen of your device, and then press Menu and select Settings. Scroll down to "Voice input & output" and click it. Then choose "Voice recognizer settings" and select the correct language. Ufortunately speech recognition does not work equally well for everyone. Speaking clearly and concisely withe a steady pace will help you achieve the best results. Back to FAQ
